Post 1951 Hood Safety Latch Needed
I'm in search of 1951 F1 secondary (safety) hood latch with its spring, the gizmo that keeps the hood on if the primary latch lets go. Got one?

1951 Hood Safety Latch Needed
The secondary latch on my truck broke off too. I've thought of trying to fit one in from some modern car. Let me know if you find a solution.

do you know if it is the same as a 53-56 ??? I've got a spare valance piece that has the latch for my '53.. if it fits we can make a deal

John, I don't know if a 51 F1 secondary hood latch is the same as '53.Perhaps another reader can tell us?
