Welcome to FTE! Look through the galleries here! Most of our trucks are "rat rod" show stopping super trucks in progress. Mines so ugly I don't have a picture of it. But I drive it everyday with a big grin on my face!

I'm not sure we answered rhythm's question about rat rod (but answered the ratty rod issue). I think he's thinking flat black, wide white-wall tires, red wheels...something like that?

rhythm -- if you're checking this thread, also skim thru the gallery. I think I remember seeing one that semi-fit the above description.

I'm working on that rat rod thing. Low budget, and I don't have to get up tight about it.

Here is a photo in my gallery of my son's 63 that he built rat-rod style. It looks like gloss paint but was actually taken after a rain at a show in Wisconsin Dells.

Very Nice!
I also like your white gem.
Curious -- where did you get the model?

There is a real nice one in the latest issue of Classic Trucks. By far the nicest "rat slick" i've ever seen.
