Need some new wheels

Thinking of some new wheels for my truck. I currently have the stock 18x8, which are nice, but something different would be fun. Looking at 18x9 to 18x10. I am running 285/65 R18 BFG AT TKO's. Just got them about 4k ago. I use the tuck for work, so I need to have full towing capicity, and don't want the tires to rub. I am thinking of a black wheel that would look good with Blue and Arizona Beige. I have a black tool box, bug shield, and window tint, so it would match. will a 9" wide tire actually make the tire 1" wider. My tires are rated for an 8 to 10" wide wheel. What brands and websites should I check out. I am in Colorado Springs if anyone knows any local shops. Thanks, Levi

Sounds like you have a plan for your new wheels. The color scheme should work out nice. There are alot of places out there. Just do a search and you will come up with a ton of places. Once you select a wheel and have a make and model, you can go and shop for the best prices. Wheel styles and colors are a personal choice, but be careful with the sizing. If you go with a larger diameter tire, you will change the effective gearing and subsequently, the speedo and odometer. An 8" to a 9" width is not too bad, but a 10" might be a little borderline with a stock tire. I have the BFG's with the 6-7" rim, so a 10" might be bringing it out a bit much. Good luck in your search and maybe post some pics when you get them installed.

Nope. They are a specific size. Changing wheel width does not affect overall tire tread width. I'm not sure if a 10" isn't too wide. I know that Eagle makes a 114 series that's 18x9.5" that fits a stock height 2005-2006. I don't think it's available in black though.

I just don't want them to rub, loaded or unloaded. Does anyone have any pics of a 17" or 18" wheel that is 8 to 9.5 wide, with a stock height tire. I though about a leveling kit, but am going to leave things stock for now. Are there a lot of wheels to choose from? Thanks everyone, this is a great site. Levi
