I dented two rims this morning...
Driving to work this morning I hit a pot hole so deep that it dented both of the passenger side rims. I'm lucky the tires didn't blow out. I already called the town but I haven't got a response yet.
Where is a good place to buy replacement rims? I have a 1999 F150 XLT 4wd. The rims appear to be chrome.

I am going to "try" to install all new rotors and pads tonight. I will check the back of the rims when I take them off.
I'm hoping my front rotors come off without too much fuss.
edit:
I ordered both front and rear rotors as well as pads but I only received the rear rotors so far. I guess I won't be doing the brakes tonight!

I am not a big fan of aftermarkert rims. The ones I do like tend to be fairly expensive. I think a set of used OEM type rims is what I am going to get. My tires are still in great shape so I don't want to change the rim size. I am amazed that the tires, on the rims that were damaged, didn't get damaged. I thought that the sidewalls would bubble but so far they haven't. You gotta love truck tire's sidewall strength. Car tires would have bubbled for sure!
I found a set of chrome Lincoln Navigator wheels on ebay that will work. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...6965&rd=1&rd=1 The bidding doesn't end for another 26 hours. If I can get them for a resonable price that is what I'll get. I may also check a few local salvage yards to see what they have. I hate paying a $100.00 just for shipping.
