Steering Better, but will Dampener Help?

With the recent replacement of almost everything on the front end, I still have quite a bit of looseness in the steering wheel. Now I know these trucks are known for their sloppy steering, but could a steering dampener help? I am running tires that are a tad wider than stock specifications, so some of the looseness and wandering may be caused by them, but its more the overall looseness in the front end. I was quoted to still have the right side ball joints and a drag link replaced, but I hear this will help. Heres a list of ones that are available, which are the bests? And will the differnece be noticiable?
