End of an Era

This morning I watched my 1950 F47 leave the yard on the back of a flatdeck.

It is on it's way to it's new home, many, many miles away.

I probably won't be visiting to this board much anymore, as I no longer have a project to discuss and it hurts a lot more than I expected it to.

Thanks to everyone for all of their help. I hope I have provided some good advice along the way as well.

Man Kris, sorry to see you go. You sure you couldn't go for another nifty project on one of these lovely old girls? I'm sure you could find a good starting truck and I know you and the rest of the group have enough interesting and crazy ideas to make it fun.

If not, I certainly have enjoyed your comments and info.

Sorry to hear that, but don't go too far away. The knowledge you've gained will still be of value to new guys here even without a project of your own. Thanks for your help from time to time, Kris.

You'll be back. It's a disease. You may get rid of the symptoms, but you'll always be F-100 positive.
