Our local dealer had 2 on the lot when we bought ours. Unfortunately ours was stolen in the late 80s when a family member took it to oklahoma. ill try and post a pic. i beleive they came in blue, silver and black.
How do i attach a pic?
Have you got a picture?

From my comment I meant that it wasn't a Ford assembly line truck

I have seen the newer trucks with special Alberta... Western Related Packages.

Back in the 70's I think it was few & far between

No, I am sure there wasn't an RPO but they were sharp trucks. I had a picture of the truck but we can't find it. If we do find it. I will share it.

I have the 78 brochures and there isn't any Midas truck package listed.

Hey 'Benson, seems like you're the one keeping this thread alive. Keep those restoration pics and progress updates coming!

PS, Ryan Franck hasn't been on here in over a year so I'm not sure he'll be getting right back to you...

I found this picture of my 78 back when dad first bought it. I've been scouring these forums hoping to run across another one in the blue scheme. If anyone has pictures of the blue midas touch, I'd be very interested in seeing them! Mine is the only one I've ever seen anywhere, Internet or otherwise.

This is the state of the truck today. Rough, I know. Hoping to eventually do a full restore after I finish college!
