This has been quite the long running thread. I'm glad you guys have been so dedicated to finding these trucks. Good restoration job Benson. I must admit that when I saw the interior shot it gave me a flash back to some basement rec rooms that we partied in during the 70's. Only thing missing was the lava lamp hanging from a gold link chain. lol. Thanx for keeping this thread going and keeping the trucks on the road.
I have seen one of these before. Love seeing people finding rare trucks like this and bringing them back. Great work!
I'm trying to get the truck finished. I have been working 4 years. I finished the cab paint work today. I'm just learning how to paint. I original bought the truck in 1980 and sold it 1983. About 2010 my brother in law found the truck in Pocahontas Arkansas. I purchased it but it was a total wreck. It was good to see it again. We ran the Vin to make sure it was the same truck. I have only seen about 4 of these customs. It was done in Elkhart In. I hope I can finish it. The hardest project is my life . I will post a picture of today's work. Also a door from a few days ago. Thanks
