Don't come to So. Arkansas looking for it. I had to look long and hard to find the 2 I have. Since the price of scrap has gone so high, they are hitting the crusher with alarming regularity.

Here's where I found my 56: http://ww2.collectorcartraderonline.com/
You can search by state or section of the country, etc.

Did you notice this 55? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...-it-worth.html

I think it's kind of funny that you want one right as he wants to sell one. Usually, that kind of timing doesn't happen.

Good luck!

Actually he`s looking to buy it and he is asking about the price which seems quite high at $15,000, I don`t think it`s as mint as it first appears to be. I didn`t know there was a big rear window option in 55, that`s a strange option for an F250.

Not trying to go against the rules, but I have a '54 on this site's "for sale" section.
It has a '55 grill on it now, and, by bolting on a '53, you would have a '53.

As long as it`s listed in the For Sale-classifieds first it`s fine to mention it here as well.

Welcome rcronin, good luck with finding your dad`s dream truck, I`m sure that he will enjoy it very much. Since it`s your first post we`ll let it go, wanted/for sale items are to be posted in the main FTE classified thread.
If nothing comes up try an ad in the local newspapers to find something close to home.

I have a nice 54 Custom Cab but you probably don't want to buy a truck in the far Southwest when you are located in the far Northeast.

I actually am looking for one from the west or south due to rust and body rot on trucks up here. Will pay to ship. I appreciate the reply but heart is set on a '53.

Do you know the differences between a 53 and a 54? Are you looking for a project or a driver?
