Prices?

Got an 06 with 6000 miles on it. If the new 6.4L is going to be as awesome as it seems to be, i would seriously consider trading. Does anyone know the prices of the new trucks?

I had a 2006 F350 DRW Lariat (TowBoss) with 5000 km (3,100 miles). The reason I say had is because a month ago we were in Montreal for a dinner party and ... yup the truck was lifted. It was very professionally done, they didn't start it they lifted it onto a container and it was gone. The Hotel security told me that they lose trucks there often, it would have been nice to know that before I checked in. Anyway I always look at problems on the bright side as in they can also be opportunities . What is this opportunity you ask, well the insurance will cover the cost of a new truck since it was only 4 months old. I can't wait to order a new F450

New to this forum, but I did see an 08 Superduty 450 daully crewcab today in McKinney Tx. McKinney Ford is on 75 about 40 miles north of Dallas. It was at the dealer for training. Will be in Dallas area about 2 weeks. Talked to the fleet manager for some time. He told me that they would not have pricing untill early Jan.. and they would see the first trucks late Feb or early March. He said availablity would be slim at first. I ask him about ordering, he said that real world would be about 5 months from the date that they could start to take orders. Maybe sooner but don't hold your breath. He said at the training they were told availablity be slim for a bit due to Ford having some major changes in a lot of areas. Also Ford had to much 06 and 07 inventory. Also the truck is great looking. Many great new features. Also this truck had a full console up to the dash with a floor mounted auto shift. A little like the 150 King ranch. No one would tell me if it would be available and at what trim. Check with your local dealer maybe this training is going on in other major metro areas as well. Anyway He is going to call when he has more info, I'll post what he gives me.

This doesn't jive with the previous posts showing build and estimated shipping dates. Why would this dealer put out such a pessimistic forecast for 08 availability?

$36,000 to $55,000
