I talked to her about us taking a vacation there..... maybe getting there early in the week, having time to ourselves and then having a good time when the FTE'ers get there. But it is a weekend that we might have some family conflicts...

Hi guys. I wanted to let you know that my father, George, passed away on Monday morning, September 12th, from kidney failure. I don't know how many of the old-timers are still kicking around this board, but I wanted to let you know that working on Earl and corresponding with you, both to give and receive help, was a real bright spot in his life. It made him incredibly happy to be part of this community and to help others with projects in any way he could.
I still remember the day we bought Earl and all of the insanity that followed (taking literally every rivet out to repair the frame...). I hope you're all doing well and thank you for being part of his life. I just wanted to provide a coda to this thread.
