Post mustang tank

does anyone know if a 69 or 70's mustang tank will fit between the framerails of a 56 ford truck. i heard that the 1965-68's are a good fit, but i wanted the larger 20 gallons that a 1969, or 22 gallons that a 1970 tank has. has anyone used these before? thanks for any help you can give me.

As was mentioned, check the tech articles for this item.

I can say that you will have to trim a bit from the inside of the frame rails so that there will be enough clearance.

I've got a tank from a cougar that's going in my '56 and I'm going to trim around 1/4" from each frame rail.
