Duplicolor Rattle Can Bedliner

First off I don't want to put it on my pick-up. I want to coat a large one piece towed garden cart. I end up scraping it down every two to three years, to paint. If it was a little smoother than LineX that would be fine.

Being a Jeeper (off-roading) I use the stuff often.
Not that it's really all that durable but it looks good on bumpers, roll cages
or anything I want painted black.
The textrue is nice, hides a lot of.....
Keep in mind any paint needs a clean prep and a good prime to last.
Also being flat it's easy to tuch-up along with the texture it leaves.
I think it's good stuff for what it is, but it anit good for what it's sold for..go figure.

I painted the under side of a new mower deck with it, to stop it from rusting out especially in the wheel area. Holds up well accept near the tip of the blades. Also did an iron aquarium stand, best thing I found to hold up against the salt. For spraying a truck bed, I wouldn't recommend the stuff.

I use Duplicolor paints for a lot of interior work, dashes, door panels etc. but the rattle can bedliner is just about useless. I would recommend Rustoleum for your intended use. I painted some iron railing with it 5 years ago and it's still holding up.

I used the 3M brand undercoating back in early 2002, on my well wells and the splash / rock throw zone for my front wheels. Still looks like I just did it, I believe I used the interior / exterior undercoating rather than the exterior use only undercoating.
