Where to get tires from?

Hey Guys!

I just recieved my Mark LT rims a few days ago and am looking for where to get a nice set of 33" agressive tread tires for them.

Anyways my question is do any of you guys know of a good Canadian Wholesaler?

I have found some good deals in the US but the shipping and duty kill the deal, and local tire shops all want an arm and a leg.

I have a few brands in mind but am deffinitly not set on any one in particular.

Thanks

What brands do you have in mind? What about tread, are you going really agressive or...? Tires is a tough one to get cheap.

A couple of ones I have in mind are the:

Cooper Discoverer STT
Toyo Open Country M/T
NITTO Terra Grappler

all in 325/60/18.

They are fairly agressive. But I am open to just about anything that will do the job and look good, I am open to suggestions too.

Thanks.

The only thing I can say is to watch for a sale and hope something comes up. With that size it will be hard. I`ve never had any real luck in getting a great deal from any supposedly ''wholesaler''.
Costco may be the closest thing, I wouldn`t expect a smokin` deal but a few dollars off.
At Goodyear I got a quote of around $330 for Coopers, not sure bout what Cooper line that would be. The list price was supposed to be well over $500....
Once in awhile if you`re real lucky you might find a set of new ''takeoffs'' (tires that are replaced when a customer buys a new truck and doesn`t like the brand that`s on it so he gets them exchanged for his brand).
Good luck, don`t blow your Xmas budget on tires.

18s, ouch, they arent cheap. Im almost posotive you wont be able to find any wholesalers that sell the size you want for cheaper. Some nice sounding tires you named though, I would go to your local dealer.

I had some parts shipped to a guy in Plentywood once and I drove down to pick them up.I have also heard of a place in Noonan that people get things shipped to.If you want to try some-what local you might try Performance-Plus in Saskatoon or there are some tire guys from Saskatoon on the 306Motorclub site that might be able to get you a quote.

Value Tire in Regina supposed to be pretty good. I have used them a few times and they seem to have the best prices in town. Also Graham's Tire are good, we use them for work alot.

You might want to ask on the Saskatoon 4wd Association website where people are getting their tires also as there seems to be a lot of people on there with big tires and despite the name there are some Regina members on there.

if you are a veteran and they have tire warehouse up there I get corporate pricing from them since we are a 501 C (3) non profit veterans services org.

Hi Billy, this is an old thread from Nov 2006. Also in Canada we likely don`t have veterans benefits like that.
