I need to install new brake light switch on my 51, I see its on the back of the master cylinder, will I have to bleed brakes after I put new one on? Thanks Don

I've removed and replaced my brake light switch on 51F1,and did not have to bleed brakes.

Just make sure you replace the copper washers, if yours has them, to keep it leak free.

Do it quick and don't touch the brake pedal while you have it out.

Run a bungee cord from the brake pedal to the steering wheel. This is a 'JUST IN CASE' to keep the pedal from dropping while the switch is removed.
