Need tune-up specs for '74 F250 390 2v
Can somebody please direct me to posted tune-up specs for my 1974 F250 390 2v with automatic trans? I've searched the net for several hours and can't find this info. I have a service manual for 1971 but don't know if the specs were the same for 1974.
For 1971, they were:
Dwell at idle- 26-31
Point gap- 0.017
Plug gap- 0.032-0.036
Plug- BF32
Timing- 6 degrees BTC with vacuum line off and plugged
Carb#- D1TF-AKA
Idle 550 RPM
Fast idle 1500 RPM
Thanks

They usually say to look at the decal on the valve cover.
Here's mine up until 72.

.044 spark plug gap
Timing = see decal
all other 390's are 6*BTDC
