Anybody recognize this truck?
Folks,
Have any of you ever seen this truck?
All I know is that it was built by the E.J. Graf Ford dealership in Winters, CA in 1959. The cab was stretched 26.5", the side windows were from a '49 Ford Business Coupe. It took 200 hours labor.
Anybody know where it is today?
Adios,
Brett

Anybody recognize this truck?
I passed a copy of this picture along to some family members who are in the Winters area. I have relatives who farmed in that area for a couple generations, and with my Dad, Uncle, and others being Ford truck fans, they know most of the oddball vehicles in the area- or can find out. Several family members purchased vehicles from the Graf dealer from the year they opened until they closed...
My uncle is asking around the Winters area to see if anyone remembers the truck. It is and was a sheep ranching area, and the racks appear to be sheep racks. My Dad is familiar with several firms who made custom supercab and crewcab modifications, so it more than likely was a special order through the dealer rather than a local modification. Will post back if I find out anything... Wouldn't it be a nice find in a barn somewhere?

Update!!!
I was in the Winters area for a family gathering, and actually spoke with the daughter of E.J. Graf, who recounted that the truck was built in the dealer's body shop for a vending machine dealer, who liked to hunt with this pickup and needed the extra room. The racks in the bed were for the vending machines...
Thanks to my father and Aunt Evelyne for researching this one...
Brett, do you have a copy of the article of Ford Times with this story? If a copy could be made, it would be nice to give to the family.
Thanks-
