What's this motor,Tranny, rear end etc worth

Guys,
I have a 54 F100 with a 55 239 Y-block and 3 speed tranny. The motor had been rebuilt before I bought it and I have put a rebuilt 57 dizzy, new melling oil pump (to match dizzy shaft), 4barrel intake and a rebuilt(Carbontooters ) 4100(480 cfm) carb and headers on it. I also have had the radiator repaired and tested. I'm going to pull this all out because my son in law to be (Ford mechanic) as found me a 91 Mark VII with a very low milage rebuilt 5.0 HO motor. He is going to put the whole running gear from the Lincoln into the 54 for me. So I would like to sell all the y-block stuff together. I still have the original dizzy, carb, and oil pump as well as another 2 barrel intake and carb from a 56 F500. What is all this worth? Anyone interested? I live in Pelham NH which is right on the Mass line. Any info or help is greatly appreciated.
Mike

That engine/trans combo is not especially sought out. Even a 272 would be far more desirable. You could part it out on ebay and make better money than to try to sell it whole. For example, the bellhousing is a truck only part that might be salable. The oil pan and pickup is truck specific, and the timing cover is truck specific. The generator and starter are 6volt parts and you might be able to sell them.

I would suppose that the engine would some day be desirable, but I don't think it's valuable now.

BTW, don't swap the rear axle. I think it has a bolt pattern that won't match anything you'll find for the front end. Use a 57-70 Ford F100 rear axle. Chevy guys might want that Lincoln axle.

Thanks Paul for the info. I didn't want to part it but I will to make a few $. I'm looking for a bearing/bracket kit so I can swap the front brake set-up off the Lincoln as well. I just got the Lincoln on Tuesday so I didn't measure yet but isn't the Lincoln a 5-4 1/2 ? Thanks again.

I'll have to double-check my Mark VII. I thought it was the Chevy pattern.

Lincoln is 5 on 4.5, same as the Volare front end. I am using a Lincoln rear on my 55.
