looking for used bed,tailgate and fenders for 53-55

Hey guys,

got a friend in Norway who's trying to build a 53-56 ford truck. You can imagine finding parts over there !! He needs some decent rear sheetmetal... bed, fenders, tailgate that are useable and affordable.

the cost of new metal is over 2 grand then the shipping is horrendous.. anyone got any or know of a source that could help him out ???

I don't have any but I contacted a local steel supplier and I am having 2 new sides made including the rolled lip for $125 for both. The front panel is another $20.

Might be something to consider.

I KNOW A GUY THAT JUST PULLED ONE OFF STEVE WARNERS 53 TO REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE ,THERE WAS HARDLY ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT ,YOU COULD PROBABLY GET IT FOR A SONG,NO PUN INTENDED.LET ME KNOW IF INTERESTED I,LL GET YOU A NUMBER TO CALL AN INQUIRE
