Exclamation 95' ford bronco troubles

I just installed a new head unit in my bronco but for some reason the max volume is very low. I also installed new speakers in the doors. The problem still did not fix. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with this. & one other thing, does the 95' broncos come with a stock amp already installed in them?

hey justinroyce

did you have to wiring in the head unit or was it a direct harness plug in. are your speaker wires switched meaning is the negative on the positive and the positive on the negative.

Question

I ordered the head unit off line and it came with a wiring harness that just plugged into the stock harness. I might have to check to see if maby i connected the wrong wires but im pretty sure i didnt. If i were to accedenly have done that, is it possible that it would do that to the sound?

yeah well its only one way to hook the harness up.. what kind of headunit is it.
yes hooking the speakers up the wrong way can affect the sound becuase of the different ways to wire up speakers. normally when you add more you add it in a parellel curcuit which is what the truck is so just make sure there on the right ones

ReAX is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.ReAX is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
What does the headunit produce versus what do the speakers need in watts? If you have speakers that require more than 25watts, you wil most likely need to add an amp.
