Cooling problems-any suggestions?
I would second Dwayne's earlier comment to make sure that all the rubber sealing strips are present at top and bottom of the rad to ensure all the air goes through the rad. leak paths around, over, under a perfectly good rad would certainly reduce its effectiveness.
As well, I certainly like the idea of an electric fan as it pulls air when you need it (in slow traffic) but there's sufficient air flow at cruising speed to cool the engine. I appreciate that this is a personal choice so go ahead and make yours.
