We just recently purchased a 1997 Ford F-250 Powerstroke that is wrecked. We need a really good 8 foot bed set up for dual fuel tanks. What year beds will fit this truck? Does anyone have a good one for sale at a reasonable price? Where would be the best place to buy a set of new factory mirrors for this truck. I also need a spare tire. Can anyone tell me what rims will fit this truck? Are all 8 lug 3/4 ton wheels the same bolt pattern?

As for your questions.......I can't help much. Bed? Haven't see any around lately. Not sure how interchangable the beds are(mounting wise), but isn't the years '93-97 the style you want? Anything newer won't look right.
Mirrors? The big low mount trailer mirrors? or the small type? I think there is a sponsor on this site that sells that stuff?
Rims?? I think pretty much anything 8 lug is the same from way back when til now.

 

Hi Steve, I think you have to stay 97 and down for the rims. After 97 I think they went meteric. Most of the sponsors for this site have parts for your truck. Also try your local bone yard, and ebay. If you jump over to the forum for your style truck you will get a lot more hits on your questions.

 

Any 8' dual-tank bed from 1987 through 1997 from an F-150, F-250 or F-350 will fit AND will match the bodylines. the 1998 F-250 Heavy Duty and F-350 beds will fit as well.

1980-1986 beds will also fit on your rig, but the bodylines will not match. Keep checking Ebay, bargaintraderonline, etc. for beds, but you be prepared to travel to find a nice one.

All 8-lug Ford (not Dodge or Chevy 8-lugs) rims will fit prior to 1997 and even some after.
