Do our trucks have rain gutters? Lighting related

I'm getting ready for an offroading trip in the desert and I need more light out there. I was considering getting one of these:

but I dont know if its worth it or if our trucks even have rain gutters, whatever those are.

I'm also a little worried it'll look ...odd on my truck. what would you guys reccommend as a way to get some more light on the ground?

Our trucks dont have gutters like the one in the picture. If you look at the roof of your truck there is actually about 1-2inch groove in the roof that runs the length of the truck on both sides set back a little ways from the door. That is what works at a rain gutter. You could put a roll bar in the bed and put light on it i have seen this done and it looks really nice.

Roll bar With Lights is good, but a pricey option. You can also get a Bushbar with lights. Or just attach some fog lights to your bumper. Thats the cheapest option.

I considered a roll bar but I wanted something less permanent on the truck. I may just get a bolt on bush bar or something then :/ or put some lights behind the grille, although that'll cut off some airflow to the radiator...

Lights behind the grille won't hurt the air flow enough to matter. I have 4-6" KC's on my grill gaurd and they don't cause a problem and know guys with 2-8" lights behind the grille that have no problems. It looks pretty cool behind the grille as well.

What did you use for mounting them behind the grill?

You could some off road only head light replacement bulbs. You might have to purchase a wiring harness with a relay to run them, but it would be way brighter than stock.
