Mule Ldy is starting off with a positive reputation.
Question Prob: CD player cycles at start-up

I have '07 F-150 KR with 6-CD changer. About once or twice a week when I start up the truck, even tho the CD player is off, it will start clicking through the 6-slots . Nothing I do will stop it....yet it will stop on it's own , I think, 15 -20 seconds later ? Any thoughts ? I asked the dealer, but they said they could do nothing if it wasn't happening in their shop.

Sounds like the power was interupted and the radio was cycling through the changer looking for disc. The same as it would if you disconnected the battery. Have your battery and alternator checked out. If the battery doesn't have enough charge to turn your starter and keep power going to the radio, the changer will forget if you had any disc in it.
