Doors won't unlock
91 f150, Replaced electric door locks a year ago. Now I can't open the doors with the key. Passenger side was balky since installation. Driver's side has been working fine until three weeks ago. Anybody had this happen? It's a first for me. I'm tired of climbing through the rear sliding glass. I'm open for suggestions.

Had the panel off, and "re-installed the locking solenoid, that's when the driver's door became inaccessible by key. Everything "seems", to be in working order, though. When I assist the locking mechanism the key operates. Bear in mind, this pertains to both doors, not just one. I'm sure it's something I've done incorrectly--initially on the passenger door, and now the driver's door. I'm stumped, and feel like I don't know some nuance to power lock solenoid installation.

I'm in a similar situation. My wife's 93 F150 "made a noise" inside the driver's door one day, and since then, even tho' the actuator is working, the door will not unlock with the key,the door handle, manually or with the button.
It's her daily driver, and it's a bit 'unlady-like' to climb across the seat getting in & out.
I'd sure appreciate any suggestions how to get the door open so I can get a look inside the panel and see what's up.
