steering column

I am installing a toyota power steering box on my 55 F-100 and was wanting to know if I could use a toyota steering column also. Has anyone ever ran into this before. The box came out of 1985 toyota pickup. The column would be the same. Thanks.

I have an 82 Pontiac Sunbird column connected to my Toyota steering box so I don't see any reason why you can't use the Toyota column just make sure the box is out of a 4x4 and use the 2 wheel drive rag joint because the 4 wheel drive rag joint is to tall.
