1955,Cut the top off,make a roadster.????

Can this be done.Cut it off at window level,door to door.Leave the full windshield,don't chop it.Take the vent window out,one piece side glass if needed.Leave the front door post.Has anybody seen this done?

I'm looking at the same combination. I think it can be done "fairly" easily. I keep an eye on this thread.

before you pick up the saw, decide how you will brace the cowl and rear wall. Once you cut the roof off, they lose alot of support. We did this to a van years ago and had to keep adding braces to the cowl to keep it from shaking as you went down the road.
