any danger in running retarded?
Hi-
A few weeks ago my timing chain jumped a tooth. To get the truck to run (in a nutshell) I advanced the distributor all the way, it runs now and does fairly well but the timing is still retarded aprox. 15-20 degrees. Not real quick off the line if you know what I mean. I don't have the time or the energy right now to replace the timing chain. Is there any danger in running it like this?
Thanks
Tim
