oops i have owned five broncos all full sized all execpt one w/351 i sold it to get my lightning it was hard to give up the bronc but i love my lighting 2002 or 2003 are good years to look at

Really? when i bought mine in 01 my insurance guy said they considered the lightning the same as any other F-150 with a 5.4 motor. i was prepared to bend over but my rates barely went up from the 96 F-350 i traded in.
I have American Family for Ins. and this was a few years ago so things could change i guess.

The 2000-2001, maybe the 2002's also, had problems with the spark plugs blowing out of the heads. Not enough threads in head. Henry remedied this in 02' or 03'.
they charge me on insurance less than my 97 civic 2 door,,,,,well make sure it has no recalls,,,crusie control etc...,,tires need to be good because there 1400 for all 4,,,make sure it's a 2001 or newer,,,,and make sure it drives smooth no ticking no blue smoke from tailpipes,,,make sure it did not blow the stock engine 3 times like mine,,be preparred to get 10 mpg...
besides all that there great,,i tow- dollied a dually and my bed filled with crap all the way to florida from maryland with the boost this thing makes it towed smoother than my 1996 sierra dually....
