1994 F-150 Blinking airbag light?
1994 F-150 XLT Ext. Cab shortbed w/ the 5.8L automatic "Centurion package". It's got 167k miles on it and going strong except for the occasional reasonable worn part. I also own a 2000 F-250 with the 7.3L and very much a Ford guy except I'm not a add-on trick guy. I run'em the way they come.
The other day on the F-150 the ABS light started flashing & blinking 3x, then 2x. I've read some other posts on this board and I know the series of blinks is giving a fault code. The most common fault mentioned is the "clockspring". With the 3-2 blink, does that mean it's the clockspring, or something else? Whichever it is, where do I find it, how much, and how hard/easy to swap out?

Was gonna reply to this the other day, but saw ABS and didnt. if yer talkin yer Airbag light blinking 3x 2x, I believe that IS the clockspring. I had the one in my 94 Bronco replaced a few years ago. My mechanic said I could have done it with my Chilton's and a good set of tools, but bein a relative rookie at the time, I didn't want to risk it with the Airbag. I think all told, parts and labor that job was 200 bucks. Hope that helps

How much was the clocksprijg? And I understand it's located in the steering column? Does that mean from underneath the access panel underneath the column, or does the steering wheel itself need to be taken off? I've got no problem wrenching into it. Just need to know the general direction to dive towards.
