Effect of hot VWO on O-rings and return lines

Is there a problem with having the WVO too hot, and causing O-ring, return line, or selector valve failure? I am considering converting a 6.9 IDI, and had read much about getting the oil as hot as possible (including using line heaters just before the injectors, like what Fattywagons sells).
