I am curious what experiences you guys have had buying parts for the 57-60 F100's. I placed a second order with John's F100's on July 9th and some of the items are still back-ordered. The first order had an item or two that took a couple of weeks also. Have you found 2-4 weeks wait time normal? I haven't tried other vendors, maybe they are better? Perhaps it's because I'm in the 57-60 category?

 

I have a 59 F-100. I have had good experiences with John's, but found that they do not have the selection of Sacramento Vintage Ford or LMC Truck. I have used John's because they are friendly, helpful and in the Southern California area. C&G Early Ford Parts in Escondido is also a good source.

I have had very good experiences with John's as well. I too had to wait a couple weeks for a back order. I Don't believe that any of the re-pro companies keep a lot of the '57-'60 items in stock. I guess it depends on what it is. Anyway, I now shop at the FTE Online store......

Have you tried this site's Online store? I have had nothing but good experiences there myself. They have pretty much everything that the other companies offer plus, the best part is that buying from the Online store helps to support this site, which in turn helps Ken to keep this site available for all of us to use for free.
