Need a Gas Tank Emission Vent Grommet

Any idea where I can get a grommet for a 1973 gas tank? Its the one that fits in the emission (vent) hole on top of the tank. LMC and Dennis Carpenter do not sell it.
Thanks... Randy B

A couple of years ago I bought one from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard, they did not have them new but had a good assortment of used ones that I was able to get a good one for my restoration project. Give them a call and see what they might have. -Ed

Thanks, I'll give them a call. I also measured the diameters, I'm going to try to go to an auto parts store or Ford dealer and see if they have on based on my measurements. The problem with that is I usually get the deer in the headlights look.

That's because they really aren't parts people anymore.

They are computer operators that walk to a shelf if they have the part (that applies to a vehicle less than 8 years old)

Did you check with all the FTE sponsors for these years trucks yet ?
There are at least 5 of them.

Is this what you are looking for ?

Thanks guys. I found it at Jeffs Bronco Graveyard, its for a Bronco but it should fit. The grommet from BOTP is not the right one, thanks again!

The one he was looking for goes in the very top of the tank, looks like an old style roll over valve but is called an emission port. I have not been able to find these new any where (including our sponsors) and Jeffs Bronco Graveyard could not find them new either, thats why I bought a decent used one from them. -Ed
