thats exactly what i was thinking....im being modest right now because of my budget.

how long would you expect an alumanized system to last?

I would expect it to last 7-10 years... just got to keep it away from salt water and anywhere where the use salt on ice.

I had a cheap aluminized set-up that literally fell off after 4 years. The muffler rotted out from use in salt water.

i think im going to dish out the extra 150 and go for a stainless gibson swept side system.

I have the Gibson stainless exhaust system that exits the same as the ford factory system , great system , sounds awesome !

I put the ebay y pipe on my 2001 F250 crew cab 5.4 and man did it help. You can pass people with out down shifting on the interstate now. I really like it and would recomend it to anyone with a F-250 5.4. You will feal a big differance.

stainless is definitley worth it, but i couldn't find a dual rear exit that lets you keep the spare under the truck....
