I have a set of skirts that fit my 1952 truck. I bought them off of Ebay a few years ago and they seem to be correct. They also look
quite a bit like the ones that would work on a 1942-1948 ford. They
lay on the outside of the fender and have a small C-hook on one end and a threaded stud that a small flat piece goes on the other side.
The top has the long hook type catch that is reached at the top of the wheel well. I once saw a pair that was hand-made and thats what inspired me to find these. I can send you a picture if you want.
