MAF conversion questions
I'm swapping an EFI 460 into my '78 F-250. The motor is going to be either supercharged or twin turboed with a cam and F3 heads (the reason for the MAF swap). Is there any reason why I can't use the harness out of a MAF mustang to do my swap? All of the conversion kits use a mustang computer and MAF. It seems like this would be the way to go. Thanks in advance.

You can use a mustang harness and EEC, but you'll have to adjust the values in the EEC (not a big deal, most tools that do this support the mustang bits) and generally the 89-93 years are most common.
You'll have to rewire the injector harness a bit as the firing order is different, but you can do that at the EEC connector and not unwrap/cut up the actual harness.

Thanks for the reply, I figured you would bring your EEC knowlege to the table. What values would I have to adjust? If all of this works out, it would be great, and cheap. My uncle has mustang mafs and computers just taking up space. The only thing I would have to buy would be the harness.
