Mine is a 4x4 so, I'll eventually go the other direction.

However, I think a 2WD truck with some sweet 22" or larger rims, body kit, and professionally done lowering kit would look AWESOME. Especially if you did the Saleen SC/Exhaust and all the performance bells and whistles...

It all depends, there are lots of good kits out there. I used the Eibach Pro Kit on my truck, which changes out all the springs. The stance was great and it handled well, though, if i could do it again I would have used a DJM kit, which retains all the factory springs, leaving a closer to factory ride.

I have only used two brands for any lowering, and those are DJM, and BellTech. DJM is my first choice.

707ford,

I just had my 4*2 Screw lowered last week. I used the Eibach Pro Kit 2" Front & 2" Rear. I also added 20" Rousch wheels. Looks great. I did not go lower in the rear since I also tow a travel trailer.

Good Luck

i put the djm 3.5" - 5" drop on my 05 screw and i love it. it keeps the stock springs in the front only replacing the control arms and it had flip kit in the back and a 1" lift shackle to level it out. the ride is great, near stock. the back bottoms out on big bumps. the frame bottoms out on speed bumps if u dont watch it. i cut my tail pipe off too at the muffler cuz it scraped. other than that i love it. it loooks great. as soon as i get some pics, ill post em. i got it from stylin' concepts mag.
