well thanks for the info on the distributor shaft and assemble, you should right a book >>>>>Well never under esimate u again!!!! All he wanted to know was firing order and where they connect to the cap. on the word rotation, wouldn't that be 11oclock? and does A.M or P.M. make a differance? Any of your 46 years expertise woud be great. P.S, I like how you edited your last post. Had to think about it for awhile eh.

i was wondering if u know much about the e4od auto tranny in a 92 f150? I made posts but no one replies much. mine doesnt do anything when i put it in gear. it will slowly go when i put it in first but no power at all. at first i just unhooked the battery to get her home but now that doesnt even work. Reverse works fine. I heard other ppl changed the silonoid pack but i cant even find it. i checked the fluid and pump, they seem ok, i took some codes and they were 636-636 and 452-634-452-634 any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

little late but..........

Proabably have what you need already, so just call this reassurance or another piece to the puzzle, which ever works for ya.

This is a pic from My parts truck- 1984 f150- 302, 2brl., auto,2wd. The picture does'nt show the plug locations, but does show the top of the dizzy, which side the wires run to, and their locations on the cap. I have'nt messed with the wires, but someone got to the carb before I secured the truck. Also keep in mind the motor was blown the wires look like they were'nt moved though, but I can't be for sure. it's an hour and a half away or I could give you the cyl #'s also. If you still need the cyl #'s by some chance, let me know, and My next parts run I'll check on It for You. Might not be until next week or longer though before I make it again.
Good luck with it.

Yep, your right on there, just alittle reassurance, backing up your diagram. Looks like the same order on the distributor cap to me, so My guess Is yours is the correct one.
funny thing, but I got a firing order out of one of the popular repair manuals one time that threw me for a loop at first, because they had two wires crossed up in the diagram. It was computer controlled timing though, and I had just changed the coil packs. I kept telling Myself the timing was'nt right or something, but no dizzy, and kept looking at the diagram closely, finally there was something I spotted in the dia. that led me to believe there was a misprint on the 2 wires, so I switched them and wallaaa.
