I've got everything bolted up but I'm not happy with the springs...
these are stock MII 6 cyl springs, but they seem too long as they bow outward on each side...
I don't have the engine in yet so it's only gonna get worse when I do right ??? ... any advice ??? cut off a loop ??? help ??

Hi John: I am not an expert but I think once you get weight on the front end and the lower control arms become close to level the spring will become straight. I think from looking at you pictures, the perch for the spring is make it bend outward. See how the perch is pointing outward. When the control arm is level the perch will be pointing up

Hi john, I have installed a couple of these units and one had the same springs as yours, The previous replier is right that the motor weight will bring the springs in, although I did have to grind a small section of my upper controll arm to avoid rubbing, Later I removed the springs and took one loop out, this dropped the front almost 2 inches and I was still good for a front end alignment, Hope this helps (I used a small block engine) Dlowery4
