Saw your thread title in the forum home, Dave, and had a chuckle... thought we had a site sponsor trying to move snake oil...
"You can save up to 31% on gas and add up to 16% more horsepower..." and you can give me all of the money you plan on spending on it. I'll put it to good use on my rig.
Looks like someone has tried it as I found this in the sellers feedback.
"No change in gas mileage and I have a MPG meter on my car. It was worth a try.
Reply by grille-tech: Please make sure it's installed correctly. Contact us for help if needed."
And I was all set to delete my first SPAM post in the V10 forum

And if you look in the guy's feedback, plenty of people have posted "no difference", "no improvement" etc.
And his reply? "Not installed right", "read the return policy", "bad ebayer", etc.

Hey - with that and my fuel line magnets, I should be able to get 30 mpg/city real easy and at least 20 mpg/towing my 6k trailer... dmn, too bad I can't remember my paypal login!
I'm always skeptical when I see a seller with this comment added to thier auction...
- Positive Feedback will be left to your account only after Positive Feedback has been left to our account.
- If Negative Feedback is left for us after all parameters of this auction are met by Grille-Tech, Negative
Feedback will be left to your eBay account, eBay will be notified and legal action could result.
IMHO - as a buyer, once I pay for the item I should get feedback because that is my only obligation to the seller.
$15.99 and $6.99 shipping is $22.98 X 12,781 happy customers is = $293,707.38
Not a bad return for a item that costs less then $3.00 to stamp and rivet and about $1.47 in postage
I should think about some snake oil of my own... never thought about the lunacy of E-bay too hard... time for a retirement plan
I bet I can dream up a spark booster with cool lights for under the COP that get up to 5 MPG and up to 25 HP easy with the V10 and they would only be $7.89 each plus shipping
Just to keep to the facts, this guy sells lots of other parts, like grills and I think bras...
If you look through his feedback, I don't think he got a good feedback from anyone who bought one of those things. I could be wrong though.
Feedback is not manditory. If you leave bad feedback, chances are you will get it in return. Most people who are unsatisifed never leave bad feedback in fear of retaliation.
Case in point: Selling an Eimac vacuum tube that I have no way of testing except for the filament and any bleeding across to the plates, and marked in BIG BOLD letters "Sold AS-IS, not returns accepted", when the guy turned it on and it glowed red (which it SHOULD based on past experience with vacuum tubes when I was a kid learning electronics) and the amp still didn't work, he has the nerve to ask about returning it because it's no good. I didn't give him feedback because I was waiting for him to do it first. He hasn't

Off Topic
Guy at work has an Ebay business on the side. He sells objects, characters, and stuff like that from some on-line game - not the code from the game - which would violate copyrights - but objects that only exist in the online game's world. People actually buy stuff that only exists on the internet for tens if not hundreds of dollars. He's made a couple thousand during a week when he was really into it...
Now if it was that easy to get those performances out of a truck with that little bit of money, dont you think the manuf would put them in to help bolster sales by saying they have great gas milage and lots more power.
