Installed Bully dog remote starter...problems. HELP PLEASE
I installed a delux 500 bully dog remote starter and i have major issues. After trying to find (probe) the overhead supervisory light wire everything in the truck seemed to fail....power windows, sunroof, back window, radio, seats, computer readout.... all don't work. there is also an airbag light that is on... I checked all the fuses and even switched the breakers.. nothing.. I disconnected battery cables waited 15 seconds and touched the wires together for 1 minute to reset the computer but that made thigns worse.. now the computer readout does not even work..
HELP.........

Maybe you got some wires crossed or something? Did you follow the correct wiring diagram? Or make sure all the wiring plugs are fully plugged in up under the dash. On my last truck, everything quit working like yours. But somehow this one harness plug got loose way up under the dash and it wasn't even a wiring harness that I was tapping into. But I squeezed that plug back together and I got power back to all the interior items.
also, the Ford remote start systems instructions are on this site, maybe it can help you:

yeah i checked everything and jsut don't know what else to do... at this point im trying to determine worse case scenario when I bring this to the dealer.... Is it possible I created a short somewhere and if so, what constitutes a "short". I mean all I really did was use that needle probe to see which wire was working with the interior light switch and it just foobared...

Sounds like you may have accidentally grounded a hot circuit. You may have double pierced a couple of wires.
You should have probed at the plugs. The problem with piercing the wires is you can cause shorts. It also breaks the insulation. You could have pushed a wire strand thru the insulation and grounded a circuit.
This could be expensive. Double check all of your fuses. Then make a list of all the wires you probed before taking it to the dealer. Or get a manual and try to chase the circuits yourself.
I'm not sure about all the power options, windows, sunroof, back glass, but the display problem is probably PCM related.
Does the truck start and run normally?
