i'm confused. can anyone tell me whats the difference between styleside and flareside?

styleside and flareside

The Flare side box is what used to be called a step size box. Flare side comes in long and short box. Hope that answers your question!

Thank you!! Another question if you dont mind? What does STX on the
F150 reg cab? Is it a sport package the truck has? Again thanks for the clearification about sides.

Sorry Styleside comes in long and short not flareside. As for the other question I will work on it. Anything to take away from studying.

STX is a sport/ appearance package on the base XL model. You get monochromatic paint (no chrome bumpers), aluminum wheels, different grille, and you can order the audiophile sound system. Down side: it only comes with the 4.6 V8

Flairside is the bed with the fenders outside the bed, styleside has the fenders inside the bed and the outside of the bed is almost flat. They have different taillights too.
