we used to call the old v8-2 stroke detroits double breasted yamaha's as they always sounded like a 2 stroke dirt bike, and cats well i can't post that one here. lots of good nick names for them all. just the cummins nick name, well that one came to me when i worked for cummins metro power here in NJ.

the old 855 i-6's and 903 v8's were always cummins apart and in the shop to cumapart

Yes, some of those Dodge guys are a little funny when they get shut down.
I have driven several, but I have not driven one yet that drives as nice as my 300 thousand mile plus Ford does as far as the steering goes.
I just drove a 2000 60 miles this week, had 69,000 on the clock.
I would not do an even swap for my 86 Ford the way it drove.
I do like the way the six speed shifts and I like how the parking brake holds, but there has to be more than that to like about a truck before I would buy one.[/quote]

I have driven a 03 dodge with bank six gun set at six (it was a customers) and it was a dog! Granted banks stuff isn't top notch compared to smaller guys I expected more! I thiink my stock 95 would have held it own with it!

LOL!!!........got that pnuematic oil extractor and my buddy at the dealership gets me the Castrol for $6.00 a quart.

After the first two 5K changes it jumps to 10K!!!

What's funny Captain, is that it's the first vehicle I've ever owned that after 10,000 miles I have had offers from people to buy it for MORE than original sticker....I guess VW doesn't have a diesel for '07.

The jury's still out if I like it or not.......it's almost the Duramax of small diesels; relitively quiet and doesn't smell but still hard to get over the sluggish off the line performance.

10,000 miles and an AVERAGE MPG of 38+!!!

Dang DOHCmarauder, from the looks of your posts, you have a whole grip of toys......check out what I got...here goes
2005 ford diesel truck, a driveway, two bushes out front,a chocolate lab, a dinner table, a frozen chicken, grandfather clock, tan carpet (house and truck), white fridge, a tv, dvd,vhs,2 gizmachos, a birdbath in the backyard, a grey sweatshirt, 2 pairs of boots, a bed w/ sheets, jeans, some beer, 4 pictures (wall), a christmas tree, a barstool, fireplace, a few candles, a couch and a computer. I just thought everyone should know about everything that I own, even if its not a ford truck.
