How do I know if my truck has a block heater?

it will have an extention cord in the grill or in the front bumper where you plug it in

well my cord was hidden in the space in between the bumper and grill, kinda by the trany or oil cooler. or in your case it may be in the the space behind the license plate

standard really? so mine might hang one bc that'd be pretty sweet if it did i looked, well more like searched but i was looking in the lower grille... ill have to look again

For those who do have a factory installed block heater, does it list it on your sticker?

Not listed on the sticker.

The best way to check for your cord is to go to the local dealer's service department and ask them to show you where the cord is. On my 04 as I recall it was kind of hidden. On my 06 it was simple to find.

I have a block heater and it is listed on my window sticker under optional equipment.

Mine is listed on the window sticker on the left side under standard equipment under "Functional" - Engine Block Heater. My cord was also tucked up and even Zippy-tied if I remember right. When I bought my Cloud Rider Stainless Steel grille insert, the insert for the bottom part (which was awful to install) has a large hole in it for the cord to hang out. Not the classiest, but it works. Now that you mention it, that could describe me too, though. Good luck. I always plug in below 32F, not that it is needed at that temperature, but I sure believe it is easier on the truck and I intend to keep it awhile.
