my guess is that ground has something to do with the "perfect idle" quote and madvan's guess on ivs interruption. they may have a way to keep the signal un interrupted until a preset pressure is reached

I've tried the 10k mod over the weekend and it made it idle like crap, so i took it off.

Its gotta have some sort of deal where it operates only after a certain voltage. Who knows. I don't really care. I will buy a Chip before I spend money on it. Might be good for some folks but I won't be going that route.

With it's hottest setting (7) it puts out about the same smoke as the 22k and maybe a little bit more. Runs really good with it though and I'm not talking about Jimmyz here either I bought the innotronix. I liked the size of this one, you can hide it any where. I have mine it in my glovebox.

 

I bought mine from innotronix NOT from jimmyz. Jimmyz looks like a big turd on your dash, that's why I went with innotronix, you can hide it any where. And if you put it on your dash it's small enough that you really don't notice it that much.
