WVO sources

Has anyone been able to collect at the Donut-making companies like Krispy-Kremes stores? Seems like that would be a great source of relatively clean WVO. I also have a couple of tortilla-chip mfrs here that I am going to approach.

I get some of my "oil" from a place the makes donuts as a sideline. Most bakerys use Lard, which is a solid at room temps. I have to heat it up to flow, and mix just a little in with my reg oil. I've saved up about 40 gal so far, and I'm going to make a batch out of just it, and see how it smells when it is burned!

The Krispy Kreme donut website says this about their oil:

INGREDIENT INFORMATION
Our doughnuts are cooked in 100% vegetable oil shortening (partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oil). All monoglycerides, diglycerides and enzymes are vegetable based. The lecithin we use is soy based. We also use wheat in our doughnuts, including bran, germ, gluten, starch and flour. Our products may contain allergens.
