creaking front end

my 98 sport is starting to make a creaking sound when turning the steering wheel.tie rod ends?possibly?.i also noticed the boots are kind of dry rotted on the passenger side on the upper and lower ball joints.(111,ooo miles)any suggestions?

Ball joints in general will make that noise as they begin to fail. As well as the bushings in the control arms if they are dry. Grease things up real well and see what happens.
