I have a 1975 F100 Ranger XLT with a 390 in fair condition for a 75, I think. It has auto, air (no belt), fan motor or switch is shot, some rust around rear wheel well and bed, broken tailgate handle, broken grill, carpet is coming apart by the doors, cracked windshield, over cab lights work sometimes, rear window opens. It looks pretty good for a 75 though. It has the original paint job and looks like it has never been wrecked. The bed is pretty strait. It runs good but drinks a lot of gas. I think there might be some problem with the choke. I have adjusted the idle down but it keeps moving back up on its own. It rattles a bit over 50 mph but is strong on the hills and at the lights. I can cruise at 75 or 80 ok but it's kind of hard to carry on a conversation at that speed. I think maybe the heads could use some adjusting. It drinks about 1 or 2 quarts of oil between changes every 3,000 miles and I have been using 20w 50. It seems to help the oil pressure and the rattles. Original wheels and hubcaps. No sentimental value, well maybe a little.

From your description, I would say, $700-$1200 around here (Ohio). Just my opinion from your description. Don't take it too seriously.
