Is this the right price for an 86' F-150 4x4??
If it ain't broke.....change stuff till it is!
I have an 86' F-150 XLT 4x4 that is for sale, and i'm just wondering if my asking price of $2595 is to high?
It has a factory rebuilt 302 efi in it. I replaced a few sensors and gaskets between last spring and present. I also put Cali. Duals on this August and a Spray on Textured bed liner in October. There are Aftermarket 6" speakers that i put in the doors. When i bought it last spring there was minimal rust on the driver side(rear cab corner and front wheel well.....box is very new so no rust at all). I sanded and painted all the rust and can barely be noticed except for behind the F-150 emblem on both sides. I also put a brand new 875 cca battery w/ cables in last spring. The only 2 things that i know of that are wrong with it is the air pump is seized up and disconnected(but this is for emission, which MN has almost none) and the driver side window motor is getting old. IT rolls down fine, but need help to get back up. I think bearings are old and motor needs replacing but haven't gotten around to it. besides that it's great. I bought one of those turbo nets for the tailgate too....which i hear aren't made anymore. I have a CD player in it, but i think i'm going to take it out and keep it for my next car.
Does that look like a good askin price for it?? It's in GREAT shape for an 86" though....not all rusted out like many of the northern states trucks get from the road salt. I've replaced a few other things on it too but didn't mention them..if u want me to leave a post and i'll find my list. thanx in advance for any posts. laterzzzzzzz!
