June it is, and here is the chat and BS thread for it.

Well jumping June bugs, it is time to June Jam, jump on over to June, and listen to Jonny and June.

June was initially named Junius. The name either comes from the Roman goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter, or from the word "juniors", the Latin word for "younger ones". In the early Roman calendar June only had 29 days. It was Julius Caesar who added the additional day giving June 30 days.

Some things that happened in June?
1919 The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing women the right to vote, passed by Congress. 1940 The evacuation of Allied forces from Dunkirk ended as German forces capture the beach. 1942 The Battle of Midway (World War II) began. 1989 Tiananmen Square protests ended when Chinese Troops kill hundreds.

June 6, 1844 – The YMCA is founded in London, England. June 6, 1925 – Chrysler Corporation is founded. June 6, 1933 – The first drive-in theater opened in Camden, New Jersey. June 6, 1944 – WWII D-Day.

People born in June
either have a Gemini or Cancer astrological sign. Gemini birthdays fall between May 22 – June 20, while Cancer birthdays fall between June 21 – July 22.

June is the month with the longest daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, and conversely, June has the shortest daylight hours of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. June's birthstone is the pearl, the Moonstone and the Alexandrite. The June birth flower is the Rose and the Honeysuckle.

Here is a June happening list. https://www.historyplace.com/specials/calendar/june.htm

Side note: Juneau Alaska is named after a gold prospector from Quebec, Joe Juneau.

Just being a person that is a consistent participant is much appreciated. Even though you are an Iowain or is it pronounced Iowa-ian? Or Iowa-I-an? No worries, but yes keep stopping by to work on your qualifications for your FTE Missouri chapter member T shirt. If the lady can ever get them made......

Evening Everyone!

I got the jack done I was working on for my friend Mark. I painted it to match Wicked Sickness. It turned out nice. I only have 5 more to build this month. Also, another friend stopped by and asked if I could bend some hand rails for him. They turned out decent too, so some quick money at the end of the day was nice.

According to the listing of Members of Usergroup: Missouri Chapter, you are already a member of the the Missouri Chapter. Pretty much solely due to your personal affiliation with the chapter and having close proximity to the state.

Additionally due to being a ACTIVE participant of the Missouri chapter monthly chat and BS thread (hint hint) and you being an all around good guy and supporting the Missouri way of thinking and having similar Ford truck interests. So I got ya covered.

The shop is looking good, when does the concrete truck show up? Do not bury the roll up door vert rail ends in the concrete, by accident. : Missouri Chapter

Good Morning Everybody!

Another day I'm up early and figure I might as well stay up. I have stuff to do this morning anyway, so I'll just get after it.

I can't believe it is already June.
Great work Alan, those jacks are awesome.
Gwen has a work event this evening at the lake. No telling what my daughter has planned. So, I will have a quiet evening.
My lawn looks like it's August. One bonus is that I don't have to mow as much.
We will see what the day brings

Wait until you say "I can't believe it is almost Christmas", before you know it that day will be right around the corner. We are about to take the family fur baby (Waylon the 15 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel) to the vet for a medical procedure. He has to get his eye removed due to complications from a injury.

Good morning youins. I hate to see that about Unk Bob, hopefully the prognosis has improved. Nothing since May 13 on his Faceyspace page. Rich, I'm sorry to see that about Waylon, glad to see he's lived a long life and hopefully many more years.
I'm working from home this morning and then off to see a few customers. Get to hear the grandkids and Noah, the three year old, keeps coming back to my office to visit PawPaw.
Have a great day all!
